History is brought to life, not simply by reading about dates and names, but by making visits to sites of historical interest, Our group runs 10-11 trips each year using a 16 seater minibus.These are to destinations typically about one hour drive from Wellesbourne Village Hall.

The type of historic site visited is very wide and includes castles, museums, manor houses, cathedrals, churches, Roman remains, and town walks....phew! We use a tour guide wherever we can to ensure we get the full story, including the inevitable family scandals and disasters ! Culture though ,can eventually take it toll.So there is nothing our sociable group like more tham a pub lunch and natter before heading back home
