Do you love flowers? 

It’s the only requirement to join the U3a Flower Arranging Group . We are a very friendly bunch, with no formal floral qualifications  but a love of flowers. 

Each month we have a title chosen by a member of the group with photos or ideas to inspire us. Everyone brings their own container, floral foam if used, scissors and flowers and foliage. In this way everyone’s arrangement is different and not copied from a demonstrator. This may seem difficult initially but we all help one another and everyone goes home with a lovely design. 

If anyone doesn’t want to follow the monthly theme they do a design of their choice. 

We have refreshments mid morning , a chat and  another small  floral related activity.
