During 2026, History Group 1 are discovering how our present lifestyle has been influenced, over time, by exports, imports, developing technology and involvement in different cultures throughout the world.
In our current investigations we are looking at the British Empire, a worldwide system of dependencies—colonies, protectorates, and other territories—that cover a span of some three centuries.

Historians continue to research and discover new things about the British Empire. And today, more than ever, people are recognising, questioning and understanding the full story behind this important part of world history.
