Britain’s canals and rivers offer a tranquil escape for a few hours meandering through picturesque countryside at a walking pace. Three or four times throughout each summer we offer the chance to savour these delights in pleasant company.

As well as the waterways there are pubs where good beer (and other beverages) and a light or hearty lunch are offered. Yes, there are locks to be opened and closed, and the boat needs to be steered, but these are part of the fun if you like that sort of thing, and entirely optional. We have enough willing hands.

Join us for a relaxing day out in the fresh air for a few hours. We can’t promise fine weather, but accommodation is entirely under cover (unless you’re steering!), and tea and coffee are provided. 

Cost is never more than £20 for a great day out. What’s not to like?
